This past weekend I returned to the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island with my husband as a follow up to my Date Night Destination review of Salt. This time our goal was to take in all the magic the Ritz has to offer with their Romance Package. The package includes late check out, chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, rose petal turn down, and breakfast for two just for starters. Needless to say, this girl was pretty excited!

We took some time to snap some great images of the room and view, but this trip was about relaxation and romance so the rest of the images were taken from our phones. You can see more below and on my instagram feed.
Breakfast was delish at the Southern Breakfast Buffet. I particularly enjoyed the omelet station but had to try pretty much a little bit of everything before leaving (bacon, bacon, and more bacon please). Afterwards we were rejuvenated by the fresh spring air with a little walk on the beach and sunning by the shore.

Our travels mainly revolve around work these days (not that I’m complaining), so I have to hand it to the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island for really setting the scene for us to unwind and just be us.
